The world’s thinnest and strongest material with remarkable electrical, thermal, and optical properties at your fingertips.
REVKOR has formed the (Revkor Graphene Research Center) in Salt Lake City, Utah location with the following objectives of:
Last week REVKOR Energy Holdings, Inc. announced they have been successful in securing over
$5 million dollars through private investment capital raising. Our goal is to provide high quality Graphene products, services, and technical proposals. We have established relationships with research universities, national laboratories and innovative private institutions.
The funds will be used for a range of functions in support of their ongoing supercapacitor technology development and scaled-up manufacturing, including:
Intermediate scale up equipment
Ongoing research
Commercial Negotiations
Federal & Government applications
Critical Technical Staffing expansion:
(Research & Development Engineers, Leadings Phds in this field of study.)
REVKOR will research and develop Graphene products that will be used in the following applications as:
Fuel cells
Membranes
3D printing
Sensors
Photonics / Optics
Medicine
Lubricants
Electronic Displays
Conductive Inks
Composite materials
Coating and Paints
Electronics
Solar Applications
Batteries and Supercapacitors
REVKOR will be set up and armed with these improved manufacturing processes. Researchers are developing new graphene-based products and technologies to address some of the most challenging problems in the energy, environmental, climate change and agricultural fields.
The Projects will include biosensors for disease diagnostics using highly conductive graphene inks, protective coatings, new energy storage devices, and new graphene-based adsorbents that can remove toxic pollutants from soil and water.
The dynamic team at REVKOR (Graphene Research Center) will tackle these exciting ideas and more as they continue to grow the sustainable graphene-based industry in Salt Lake City, Utah.
REVKOR will focus on the development of an existing novel electrochemical process that converts graphite rocks into graphene, producing high-quality graphene powders at a significantly reduced cost, and with low energy, no chemical waste and labor compared with other chemical-based methods.
Acting as a catalyst for graphene-positive industry initiatives and investments including the establishment of a distributed center-of-excellence for the commercialization of graphene and graphene-related products.
Linking key government, academic and investment interests for the express purpose of increasing the volume and value of graphene-related innovation and commerce.
WHAT IS GRAPHENE?
The world’s thinnest and strongest material with remarkable electrical, thermal, and optical properties
at your fingertips.
In simple terms, graphene is a thin layer of pure carbon; it is a single, tightly packed layer of carbon atoms that are bonded together in a hexagonal honeycomb lattice. In more complex terms, it is an allotrope of carbon in the structure of a plane of sp2 bonded atoms with a molecule bond length of 0.142 nanometres. Layers of graphene stacked on top of each other form graphite, with an interplanar spacing of 0.335 nanometres. It is the thinnest compound known to man at one atom thick, the lightest material known (with 1 square meter coming in at around 0.77 milligrams), the strongest compound discovered (between 100-300 times stronger than steel and with a tensile stiffness of 150,000,000 psi), the best conductor of heat at room temperature (at (4.84±0.44) × 10^3 to (5.30±0.48) × 10^3 W·m−1·K−1) and also the best conductor of electricity known (studies have shown electron mobility at values of more than 15,000 cm2·V−1·s−1). Other notable properties of graphene are its unique levels of light absorption at πα ≈ 2.3% of white light, and its potential suitability for use in spin transport.
Graphene is a two-dimensional sheet of carbon atoms with unique electrical and physical properties. Since its discovery in 2004 by Nobel Prize winners Andre Geim and Konstantin Novoselov [1], research has shown that graphene is the lightest, strongest, most electrically conductive substance on earth. To date, more than 53,000 graphene technology patents have been filed [2]. Graphene’s exceptional properties will revolutionise everyday products such as batteries, sensors, water purification systems and it will be used to create smart devices and structures.
In his book, “The Fourth Industrial Revolution”,[3] Klaus Schwab (Founder and Executive Chairman, World Economic Forum) identifies the paradigm shift to engineered materials as being a key innovation of Industry 4.0. “With attributes that seemed unimaginable a few years ago, new materials are coming to market. Overall, they are lighter, stronger, recyclable and adaptive. When graphene becomes price competitive, it could significantly disrupt the manufacturing and infrastructure industries.”
REVKOR Energy Group will become one of the leading technology research centers for the government, industry, and academia for development& investment in a globally relevant center for the commercialization of graphene-enhanced or enabled products.
And by achieving our objectives this will provide REVKOR Energy Holdings Inc. a stronger foundation for a vibrant advanced manufacturing industry while facilitating the connections necessary for the domestic industry to create and commercialize graphene-enhanced or enabled products.
Respectfully,
